Maxwell has also worked very closely in the commercial renewable energy sector setting up solar farms using the government solar schemes. Ensuring that industry gives back to both the community and the environment is of key importance to Maxwell both inside and outside his professional endeavours.
This led to forming his own IFA practice working with individuals to achieve their investment, pension and borrowing requirements. In 2000 he started his own business working closely with the larger UK based development companies, marketing and selling their products to companies and individuals. He has well established relationships with lending institutions in capital raising for development projects large and small.
He also helped establish and then went on to managed a property development company, which involved everything from land acquisition through build management to the sale of the finished products. He is a fully Qualified Financial adviser having passed his Financial Planning Certificate, holds the Mortgage Advisory qualification and RO4 the latest Pension diploma.
Pablo is a partner in ‘Cabo Abogados’, his family’s law firm based in Malaga city which has been established for more than 35 years. Pablo has decided to shift his focus from legal work exclusively and is now prioritising his involvement with Marbella Developments and the property market along the Costa Del Sol.
Pablo’s involvement with Marbella Developments enables us to provide the complete property purchasing service within Spain. This includes many ancillary aspects such as obtaining the Spanish equivalent of a national insurance number (known as an NIE), arranging the mortgage, checking all the legal documentation for completion of the purchase in notary, background checking the properties at the land registry to ensure their legal status etc.
Ultimately this means that Marbella Developments are able to hold a clients hand throughout the purchasing process from start to finish without ever needing to outsource to other companies things such as the mortgage arrangement and legal work.
